Operational Excellence in the Workplace

This full day program begins with a 1 hour the Achieve Operational Excellence Keynote

Each audience member will already be assigned to their respective teams and must sit with their team before the keynote begins. Group sizes are 12 to 15 people.

After the keynote, Odie will explain the game, each group will assign their own "Captain", then all groups are dismissed into their breakout rooms.

FUN - UNIQUE - CHALLENGING - INTERACTIVE

Your team is in charge of GHU-ALL Airlines (god-Help-Us-ALL) flight 666, flying at 35,000 at 3am over the jungles of South America. KA-BOOM!! A massive explosion - catastrophic mechanical engine failure! Your team must spring into a problem solving, teamwork, communication, organization mode.

The GHU-ALL exercise

How well will the team Captain ORGANIZE - COMMUNICATE - FOCUS - DELEGATE his entire team to get the crippled airliner full of people on the ground safely?

The airline is fictitious, however the scenario itself is based on a true event. Captain Steve "Tater" Tate was actually flying the aircraft that night when this event unfolded! He and his team had to come together and make decisions. How well does your group do, including Tater?

No one will know until AFTER the teams have turned in their final answers to Tater and Odie, and we hold a debrief session.

The GHU-ALL exercise

The DEBRIEF session is where the take aways are. There are many answers to problems, but how do we know we made the BEST decisions? Only by methodically revisiting our plan, our actions, and our teamwork can we truly improve as an entire team. Listen as Tater recounts how he and his team worked together to safety land the crippled aircraft!
